LAT Kampung Boy The Musical

LAT Kampung Boy (A Graphic Novel), an account of Lat’s life growing up in rural Perak and adventures in the tin mines portrayed in a comedic light were turned into the musical Lat Kampung Boy Sebuah Musical.

(L-R: Me, Shanti, Helenness, Maria, Ami, Aimie, Marcia, Bryanlyt)
.
Never thought a comic I used to read 15 years back would actually COMES ALIVE today!  The best thing about LAT's comic it is that it's easy to relate and it transcend language, race and religion. If you're talking about the concept 1Malaysia, LAT got it way back before our beloved goverment propagated it.

(Datuk Mohd Nor Khalid - LAT)

.
The musical started off with LAT growing up in a kampung and traditional games like riding the upih pinang (pinang frond). Oh if you're going for the musical, try spotting a real monkey.

and LAT's Mum & Dad where the mum being the typical naggy screamo mum chasing LAT with the cane all over the Kampung. The dad on the other hand is very cool, steady and supportive of LAT's talent & passion.

 .

and Little LAT grew up...that's when AWIE came into the picture. My favourite moment its when the transition of little boy LAT to became Big Boy LAT. The transition was EPIC! I went crazy by screaming and cheering!

He then started his career as a writer in NST, I love the boss' performance. My favourite supporting actor throughout the musical.

The season of courtship between LAT & Faezah "songtress Atilia".

Honestly, I would like to encourage everybody to go watch it at least once. It's really good!

Lat Kampung Boy Sebuah Muzikal will be staged from March 16 till April 5 at Istana Budaya, Kuala Lumpur. Tickets are priced between RM30 and RM230. For more details, call 03-4147 8600 or browse ticket2u.biz.

Friday by #RebeccaBlack

Meet Rebecca Black — an aspiring teen singer who has gone nothing short of viral with her debut music video “Friday.” The video broke Friday afternoon, but over the weekend it had already racked up over two million views on YouTube and she was a trending topic on Twitter for most of the weekend continuing into Monday.

if you think Justin Bieber don't deserve to be a Superstar, you're wrong! Look Rebecca, she's so-so looking..probably worst if she removes her make-up, singing had very much auto-tuned and music video sucks! Gosh, I would like to be kind with my worst but seriously?.. Viral Video, Trending Topic, YouTube Sensation? Hmmmm hard for me to digest.. What do you think?
